What’s new in this version? (Version 4.1.2)
A couple of items worth noting this release.
The first was the removal of the Project select list (combobox) from the Dashboard screen. A few of our loyal Soupsters have requested a “Show all” task list irrespective of project. Originally you viewed tasks assigned to you based on what project was selected.
The second item is, well, you can’t actually see it
What I can tell you is that the Dev Team have been working incredibly hard to finish a project that has been going on behind the scenes for the past few months. Stay tuned for an announcement very early in the new year.
Tasks
- [AS-94] Remove project filter from dashboard

So what is Agile Project Management? For the uninitiated or those simply wanting another perspective I would suggest reading the following interview conducted by Salman Jamal. Salman interviews leading Project Manager Brett Wakeman from carsales.com.au on the fundamentals of Agile Project Management.
Here are some of the points discussed:
* Definition of agile project management.
* What are the key concepts of agile project management?
* Is it difficult to adopt agile project management?
* What kind of friction did you encounter in implementing this?
* Does it address the top three hurdles of IT?
* How comfortable are you with this methodology?
* What are the strengths of this methodology?
* What are the weaknesses of this methodology?
* What would you do differently to make it more effective?

Howdy,
It gives me great pleasure to finally release the latest chapter of AgileSoup (http://www.agilesoup.com), a new and innovative Agile Project Management tool that makes managing your daily tasks faster, easier and more efficiently.
The system itself has been around for a little over a year, mostly under Beta but today we are proud to release a fully versioned application.
Although the tool is geared toward Agile Product Management methodologies the application can quite easily double as a light weight Project Management system. Over the coming months we’ll be actively integrating new and improved features, features often requested by you the user.
For existing users of agilesoup.com you will notice a change to the website design. Many of the common elements remain in place however we have included and will continue to add a plethora of awesome tools to keep you in the loop regarding upgrades, improvements and general banter surrounding the Agile Project Management arena.
If you have any feedback please drop us a line and remember you can check out all the latest news and events over at Twitter.
Cheers,
The AgileSoup Team
